The new NI-3101-SIG Signature Series NetLinx Integrated Controller includes all of the great features of the popular NI-3100, but it has been redesigned with a shorter height and extended depth for easier installation. Its sleek look also matches our new Tango Distributed Audio products.
Designed for easier rack installation, the NI-3101-SIG is half the height of its predecessor, measuring just 1 rack unit (1U) high, and its rear connections are now easier to reach because of its extended rack depth, which is 10”.
The NI-3101-SIG also includes a new USB programming port, eliminating the need for a USB-to-Serial Adapter when programming from a computer lacking a serial
connection.

The new AMX Power Over Ethernet (PoE) Injector delivers both DC power and data to any PoE-equipped device. Because it injects DC power through a Cat 5 Ethernet cable,  it eliminates the need for an AC outlet is.
Regardless of location, Metreau Entry Communicators and other PoE-enabled devices can receive power and data over a single Ethernet connection.
