Do You Know?
What
Stands For
It's an often asked question, but very few people seem to know the answer. The question was recently posed on AMX Forums:
"Is AMX an acronym? A client asked me the other day, and although I have been using AMX products for nearly 15 years, I had to admit that I didn't have a clue!"
Rex Smith, veteran AMXer of AMX Southeast Sales was the first to reply with the correct answer:
"AMX once stood for American Multiplex.
Today, it has no acronym."
Thanks for clarifying Rex. You never know what you'll learn on AMX Forums.
